In 1575, the Takeda army besieges Nagashino Castle, seemingly holding the advantage—until news arrives that Oda Nobunaga and Tokugawa Ieyasu are advancing with a massive force. This revelation destabilizes the camp. Takeda Katsuyori, eager to assert his authority as heir, chooses to engage in battle, while veteran retainers who once served Takeda Shingen advocate caution. Their hesitation is not born of fear, but of experience and awareness of shifting military realities. The film frames this conflict as a clash of values rather than mere tactics, transforming war into a deeper examination of conviction and responsibility. As tensions escalate, the camp becomes a space of competing loyalties, where honor, survival, and duty collide.
