Tensions between Cao Cao and Yuan Shao continue to escalate as both sides prepare for war. Cao Cao strengthens his internal administration and consolidates resources, while Yuan Shao, confident in his superior forces, plans a southern campaign. Though battle has not yet begun, the atmosphere is tense. The entire land waits for the inevitable clash.

English Version
As the situation becomes clearer, the rivalry between Cao Cao and Yuan Shao shifts from a hidden struggle to open confrontation.
Cao Cao understands that he is at a disadvantage. Yuan Shao commands larger armies, controls vast territories, and possesses greater resources. Facing such a powerful opponent, Cao Cao focuses first on strengthening his internal foundation.
In Xuchang, he implements agricultural reforms, including the tuntian system, to secure a stable food supply. He also enforces strict military discipline, improving the effectiveness of his troops.
Most importantly, Cao Cao surrounds himself with capable advisors such as Xun Yu and Guo Jia, whose strategies provide him with a crucial edge.
Meanwhile, Yuan Shao prepares for war with confidence.
With superior numbers and resources, he believes victory is within reach. He plans to advance southward and defeat Cao Cao decisively.
However, Yuan Shao’s camp is not unified.
His advisors hold differing opinions. Some urge immediate attack, while others recommend a more cautious approach. These disagreements slow down decision-making.
In contrast, Cao Cao’s leadership allows for quick and decisive action.
Along the border regions, minor clashes begin to occur. These skirmishes serve as tests of strength and preparation for the larger conflict ahead.
The entire land is now overshadowed by the threat of war.
Civilians fear the coming battles, while other warlords closely observe the situation. They understand that the outcome will reshape the balance of power.
Despite being the weaker side, Cao Cao remains composed. Yuan Shao, though stronger, carries hidden weaknesses within his ranks.
The result remains uncertain.
But one thing is clear—
A war that will change history is inevitable.
