As Cao Cao presses hard on Xuzhou, the wandering warlord Lü Bu suddenly arrives. Out of goodwill, Liu Bei accepts him, unaware of the consequences. While appearing loyal, Lü Bu waits for the right moment. In the midst of conflict, he seizes control of Xuzhou, dramatically reversing the situation. In chaotic times, power and human ambition can be more dangerous than open warfare.
曹操攻徐州之勢愈發猛烈，劉備苦苦支撐，局勢日漸危急。
就在此時，一個意想不到的人物出現——呂布。
自長安失勢後，呂布四處漂泊，先後依附多方勢力，始終未能穩定立足。此時，他率部來到徐州，希望尋求新的依靠。
面對這位曾經名震天下的猛將，劉備陷入兩難。
一方面，呂布武藝高強，若能為己所用，將大大提升戰力；另一方面，呂布反覆無常，曾弒董卓，其人品難以信任。
最終，劉備仍選擇接納呂布。
他秉持仁義之心，不忍拒絕來投之人，並希望以誠意感化對方。於是，劉備安排呂布駐守小沛，給予一定地盤與兵力。
表面上，雙方關係尚算融洽。

As Cao Cao’s assault on Xuzhou intensifies, Liu Bei struggles to maintain control. The situation becomes increasingly critical.
At this moment, an unexpected figure appears—Lü Bu.
After losing power in Chang’an, Lü Bu has been wandering, seeking a place to establish himself. Now, he arrives in Xuzhou, hoping to find a new opportunity.
Liu Bei faces a difficult decision.
On one hand, Lü Bu is a powerful warrior who could strengthen his forces. On the other, his reputation for betrayal makes him unreliable.
Despite these concerns, Liu Bei chooses to accept him.
Guided by his sense of righteousness, Liu Bei offers Lü Bu shelter and assigns him to Xiaopei, granting him land and troops.
For a time, their relationship appears stable.
Lü Bu remains quiet, seemingly loyal. However, he is carefully observing the situation.
He notices that Liu Bei is heavily engaged with Cao Cao’s forces, leaving his defenses weakened.
This presents an opportunity.
Soon, Lü Bu takes action.
Working with internal allies, he launches a sudden attack while Liu Bei is unable to respond in time. Within a short period, he seizes control of key positions in Xuzhou.
The news shocks Liu Bei.
He never expected betrayal from someone he had treated with kindness.
The situation changes instantly.
What was once a defensive war against Cao Cao turns into a crisis from within. Liu Bei loses his base and is forced to retreat.
Meanwhile, Lü Bu finally secures a territory of his own.
However, his victory is unstable.
Though he gains control, his lack of long-term strategy and unreliable nature make it difficult to maintain order. Beneath the surface, problems begin to emerge.
