Some moments never truly leave. They simply settle deep within life itself, becoming a gentleness that no longer causes pain, while time slowly teaches people how to live peacefully beside what has been lost.

English Version
The afternoon breeze drifts quietly beyond the pavilion, brushing across the lake and leaving soft ripples behind. Flower branches sway gently beneath shifting sunlight, while the entire garden seems wrapped within a stillness shaped by passing years. Standing beside the stone bridge, Baoyu watches reflections move slowly across the water and suddenly realizes that truly letting go does not mean forgetting. It means being able to remember without pain. The emotions that once disturbed his heart have softened with time, their sharp edges worn away until only warmth remains. He begins to understand that time never removes memories entirely. What it changes is the way people carry them. Moments that once felt impossible to release no longer resemble unfinished sorrow. Instead they feel like distant seasons of life that once existed sincerely and therefore deserve to be treasured. Daiyu experiences a similar calmness during the quiet afternoon. Sitting beside the window, she watches wind move gently through the flowers in the courtyard and realizes that life does not require every regret to be resolved. Some memories remain not because they lacked an ending, but because they once accompanied the heart with honesty and tenderness. The days they once shared, along with emotions left unspoken, have already become part of her life. Even years later they continue offering a quiet warmth that appears unexpectedly during ordinary moments. She no longer fears losing people or searches endlessly for what forever truly means. At last she understands that certain things become precious precisely because they cannot remain unchanged. The distance between them feels softer now. They do not attempt to return to the past or deliberately move closer again, yet an unspoken understanding exists naturally between them, invisible like wind passing beyond the pavilion, yet always present. Within this peace Baoyu gradually learns that maturity does not mean becoming incapable of sadness. It means continuing to live gently even while carrying memories that will never completely disappear. He no longer clings desperately to what cannot stay, nor fears separation as he once did. He finally understands that truly meaningful people and moments continue existing even after leaving their original place in life. The comfort and understanding they once brought do not vanish with time. Instead they slowly become the quiet strength that helps a person continue forward. Daiyu discovers another layer of peace as the breeze moves through the pavilion. She begins to believe that the most valuable part of life is not how much one possesses, but having once loved sincerely, trusted deeply, and been illuminated by someone during moments of loneliness and uncertainty. Even if that light eventually fades into distance, it continues remaining within the softest part of the heart. Fate itself feels gentle now, like wind crossing the lake in the afternoon light. It no longer arrives through dramatic joy or sorrow, but allows every person and memory to slowly settle into time itself. And within that long quiet movement, people finally learn how to continue walking forward peacefully while carrying the moments they have released yet never truly forgotten.
