Story Background
Strange Tales from a Chinese Studio is a collection of supernatural stories written by Pu Songling during the Qing dynasty. Many of its stories combine ghosts, folklore, social observations and traditional Chinese beliefs.
This English comic adaptation reimagines the original story in a visual storytelling format while retaining its traditional Chinese setting and supernatural elements.
