《七龍珠：神龍的傳說》是《七龍珠》系列首部劇場版動畫，於1986年12月20日上映，片長50分鐘，由西尾大介執導、井上敏樹編劇，原作為鳥山明。
電影以《七龍珠》原作漫畫及電視動畫初期的世界觀為基礎，但重新設計了敵人、舞台與故事，因此並非單純重現電視版劇情，而是一個具有獨立故事發展的平行世界版本。
值得注意的是，電影上映時的正式片名其實只有《ドラゴンボール》，「神龍の伝説」這個副標題是在之後的電影漫畫及廉價版VHS等版本中加入，因此也曾被寫作《ドラゴンボール 神龍の秘密》。
電影內容｜中文版本
在格魯梅斯王國，一場為了尋找珍貴寶石「Rich Stone」而展開的開採行動，逐漸將原本富饒的土地推向荒廢。
格魯梅斯王國的軍隊為了挖掘這種珍貴寶石，不斷破壞村民的房屋與農田。
村民們雖然深受其害，卻無法以自己的力量阻止擁有強大軍隊的王國。
生活在村中的少女潘茲不願再坐視家鄉受到破壞。
為了拯救村民，也為了讓原本充滿綠意的土地恢復原貌，她決定離開村子，踏上尋找武術之神武天老師的旅程，希望得到他的幫助。
就在旅途中，潘茲遇到了孫悟空。
悟空此時仍是一名年輕的武術少年，而他的冒險也與布瑪、烏龍、普亞魯、樂平以及龜仙人等熟悉角色交織在一起。
另一方面，格魯梅斯大王也正在尋找七顆龍珠。
龍珠可以召喚神龍，實現願望。
對格魯梅斯大王而言，龍珠成為滿足自己慾望的重要工具。
曾經是一名人類國王的格魯梅斯大王，因為挖掘Rich Stone而令國家財富增加。
然而，他並沒有珍惜這片土地，也沒有關心人民的生活。
相反地，他開始沉迷於美食，追求越來越美味的料理。
隨著慾望不斷膨脹，他的外貌也逐漸發生變化，最後變成宛如怪獸般的巨大存在。
甚至在變成怪獸之後，他已經無法滿足於普通食物，只有比以前吃過的東西更加美味的料理才能讓他感到滿足。

因此，他命令手下邦哥與帕絲塔尋找龍珠，希望藉助神龍的力量實現自己的願望。
為了取得龍珠，格魯梅斯王國的勢力與悟空、布瑪等人展開爭奪。
悟空也在這段冒險中逐漸面對更加強大的敵人。
邦哥是一名身材高大、性格單純而強悍的士兵，是格魯梅斯大王的部下。
帕絲塔則是一名聰明而擅長使用武器的女性士兵，同樣奉命為格魯梅斯大王尋找龍珠。
兩人與悟空等人之間展開了一連串戰鬥。
隨著七顆龍珠逐漸聚集，故事最終來到決定格魯梅斯王國命運的關鍵時刻。

曾經被無止境食慾支配的他，在恢復人類模樣之後，甚至重新能夠滿足於普通的蘋果。
故事在這裡呈現出一個簡單而有趣的轉變：
真正的幸福並不一定來自更加奢華、更美味的食物，也不一定來自無限的財富與慾望。
當土地重新恢復綠意，人民重新得到安穩的生活，原本被慾望吞噬的國王也重新找回了普通生活的價值。
English Version
Dragon Ball: Curse of the Blood Rubies is the first theatrical animated film in the Dragon Ball franchise. It was released in Japan on December 20, 1986, with Daisuke Nishio directing, Toshiki Inoue writing the screenplay, and Akira Toriyama credited as the original creator. The film has a runtime of 50 minutes.
The film draws inspiration from the early chapters of the Dragon Ball manga and television anime, but creates its own enemies, locations and storyline. As a result, it works as a parallel-world interpretation rather than a direct continuation of the television story.
When the film was originally released in cinemas, its title was simply Dragon Ball. The subtitle “The Legend of Shenron” was added to later releases, including the film comic and budget VHS edition.
In the Kingdom of Gourmet, the army is searching for a valuable gemstone known as Rich Stone.
In its pursuit of the precious mineral, the army destroys the homes and farmland of local villagers.
The villagers suffer under the destruction but are powerless against the kingdom’s powerful military forces.
A young girl named Pansy refuses to simply watch her homeland being destroyed.
Determined to save the villagers and restore the green landscape that once surrounded her home, she leaves the village and sets out to find Master Roshi, hoping that the legendary martial arts master can help her.
During her journey, Pansy encounters Son Goku.
At this stage of his life, Goku is still a young martial artist, and his adventure soon becomes connected with Bulma, Oolong, Puar, Yamcha and Master Roshi.
Meanwhile, King Gourmet is also searching for the seven Dragon Balls.
The Dragon Balls can summon Shenron, the Eternal Dragon, who can grant a wish.
For King Gourmet, the Dragon Balls become a means of satisfying his increasingly powerful desires.
King Gourmet was originally a human king.
After Rich Stone brought greater wealth to his kingdom, however, he failed to care for the land or the people living there.
Instead, he became obsessed with food and began pursuing increasingly delicious dishes.
As his desires grew, his body and appearance changed until he eventually became a gigantic monster-like creature.
His appetite also became impossible to satisfy.
After transforming, ordinary food was no longer enough. Only food more delicious than anything he had tasted before could satisfy him.
His endless hunger eventually became a form of suffering.
Determined to fulfil his appetite, King Gourmet orders his two soldiers, Bongo and Pasta, to search for the Dragon Balls and use Shenron’s power to grant his wish.
The search for the Dragon Balls brings King Gourmet’s forces into conflict with Goku, Bulma and their companions.
Bongo is a large, tough and straightforward soldier serving King Gourmet, while Pasta is an intelligent female soldier skilled in handling weapons.
Their pursuit of the Dragon Balls leads to a series of confrontations with Goku and his friends.
As the seven Dragon Balls are finally gathered, the fate of the Kingdom of Gourmet reaches its decisive moment.
Goku confronts the gigantic King Gourmet.
Even Goku’s Kamehameha fails to defeat the monstrous king easily.
But the final solution does not come through physical strength alone.
Once the seven Dragon Balls have been gathered, Shenron appears.
Pansy’s wish is granted.
The power of Shenron restores the green landscape that had been destroyed by the kingdom’s relentless mining operations.
King Gourmet is also returned to his original human form.
After being consumed by endless appetite, he discovers that even an ordinary apple can once again satisfy him.
The story therefore offers a simple but meaningful contrast.
True happiness does not necessarily come from greater luxury, richer food, endless wealth or unlimited desire.
When the land becomes green again and the people can live in peace, the king is also able to rediscover the value of an ordinary life.
