The story begins in Habikino, Osaka, where three elementary school children are mysteriously drawn by a swan into another realm. Transformed into puppets themselves, the children are entrusted with safeguarding sacred treasures, a mission that becomes a journey of self-discovery. When they encounter Yamato Takeru, he is far from the invincible hero of legend; instead, he is a conflicted young prince masking insecurity with bravado. As their journey unfolds, the monsters they face mirror internal fears and the challenges of growth, turning each battle into both a physical and emotional trial. The children, observing and participating, gradually learn that courage is not the absence of fear but the decision to move forward despite it.
