However, after a catastrophic incident exposes dangerous secrets within the experiment, he gradually realizes that powerful corporations, military organizations, and political figures are using the technology for purposes far beyond public understanding. What appears to be an energy innovation may actually possess the power to reshape global control and threaten humanity itself. The title The Dresden Sun carries symbolic meaning throughout the film.
