Some moments may fade into the distance, yet they continue glowing softly within the heart. Though no longer bright as before, they remain beside us through the years, quietly reminding us that true emotions never completely disappear.

English Version
Morning mist still lingers lightly above the garden lake while pale reflections ripple quietly across the water. A soft breeze drifts through the corridor, causing flower branches to sway gently beneath the first traces of dawn, and the entire world seems suspended inside a dream not yet fully awakened. Standing beside the stone bridge, Baoyu gazes into the trembling reflections and suddenly realizes that many things do not become distant simply because they ended. Instead, time slowly teaches people how to remember them differently. Emotions that once felt impossible to release no longer carry pain. They now resemble a faint light before sunrise, soft and quiet, remaining somewhere deep within life itself. He recalls countless ordinary moments he once overlooked, silent walks beneath the corridor, quiet conversations during long nights, and the companionship that existed even without promises or certainty. Looking back now, he finally understands that the deepest emotions rarely arrive through dramatic intensity. More often they exist within simple acts of tenderness that continue touching the heart many years later. Gradually he learns that maturity is no longer about desperately holding onto everything beautiful, but about accepting that even people and moments that eventually fade away are still worthy of being cherished, because they once illuminated the loneliest parts of life. Daiyu feels a similar peace within the pale morning light. As she opens the window and sees flower shadows appearing softly through the mist, she suddenly realizes that what makes certain emotions unforgettable is not how long they remained, but how sincerely they once existed. The days they once shared and the understanding that lived quietly inside unspoken moments may have drifted into the distance, yet they continue glowing softly within memory like a light that refuses to disappear completely. She no longer searches endlessly for permanence or feels sadness whenever old memories return. At last she understands that what truly belongs to life never vanishes with time. It simply continues existing in quieter forms. The distance between them feels especially gentle within the morning stillness. They still speak little and no longer attempt to move closer again, yet the understanding shaped slowly through the years feels deeper than before. Whenever Baoyu occasionally meets her gaze, the regret that once lingered within him has faded, leaving behind only calmness, as though both of them have finally learned how to continue living peacefully beside emotions that never found clear endings. Slowly he realizes that what people remember most in the end is not the extraordinary moments, but the ordinary days when someone quietly remained beside them. Those small acts of kindness become the memories that endure longest, and the reason people continue believing that love and companionship still exist within the world. Daiyu discovers another kind of warmth as morning wind moves through the flowers. She begins to believe that many emotions do not need to last forever in order to change a life completely. Some people may pass through only briefly, yet the light they once carried continues illuminating the softest corners of the heart for many years afterward. Fate itself feels quiet now, like the faint glow hidden within morning mist. It no longer rushes toward separation or reunion, but allows every emotion that once existed to settle gently into time. And within that long stillness, people finally learn how to continue walking toward the future while carrying the fading light that still glows softly inside their hearts.
