《七龍珠Z：復活的融合!! 悟空與達爾》是《七龍珠》劇場版第15作。閻魔王宮發生異變後，現世與冥界的秩序陷入混亂，已被打倒的敵人重新出現。與此同時，悟空與達爾面對強大的邪念集合體「邪念波」，並嘗試使出融合術。
Dragon Ball Z: Fusion Reborn is the 15th theatrical film in the Dragon Ball series. After a mysterious disaster disrupts the order between the living world and the afterlife, defeated villains return. Meanwhile, Goku and Vegeta face the powerful Janemba and attempt the Fusion technique.

在閻魔王宮，一名負責管理靈魂淨化裝置的鬼差因疏忽，讓充滿邪氣的裝置發生異變。大量邪氣外洩後，鬼差被邪氣吞噬，最終化身成怪物邪念波。
閻魔王宮被結界封鎖，現世與冥界的秩序因此大亂。過去已被悟空等人擊敗的敵人重新復活，悟飯、悟天與特南克斯等人只好出手應戰。
另一方面，悟空得知冥界發生異常，前往調查，並與邪念波展開戰鬥。
邪念波擁有神秘的特殊能力，即使悟空變身成超級賽亞人3，仍然無法擊敗他。
就在悟空陷入危機之際，已經死亡的達爾因冥界秩序混亂而恢復肉身，並加入戰鬥。
然而，兩人聯手仍然無法戰勝邪念波。悟空於是提出最後的方法——融合術。

English Synopsis
At King Yemma’s palace, a young ogre responsible for a spirit purification machine forgets to replace its tank. The accumulated evil energy eventually escapes and transforms him into the monstrous Janemba.
A barrier seals King Yemma’s palace, throwing the balance between the living world and the afterlife into chaos. Former enemies who were defeated by Goku and the others are brought back to life, forcing Gohan, Goten and Trunks to fight them.
Meanwhile, Goku learns about the disturbance in the afterlife and confronts Janemba.
Janemba possesses mysterious supernatural abilities, and even Goku’s Super Saiyan 3 power is unable to defeat him.
When Goku is pushed to the brink, Vegeta’s body is restored because of the chaos in the afterlife, allowing him to return to the battle.
But even Goku and Vegeta together cannot defeat Janemba. Goku therefore proposes their final option — Fusion.
The two longtime rivals must put aside their differences and become one warrior to defeat their powerful enemy.

本作最重要的特色，是悟空與達爾首次透過融合術合體成為悟吉塔。這個劇場版原創的融合戰士，後來也對原作漫畫中悟空與達爾使用「波特拉」合體成為達爾特的設定產生一定影響。
The film’s most notable feature is the first appearance of Gogeta, created when Goku and Vegeta perform the Fusion technique. The theatrical film’s Fusion concept also influenced the later introduction of Vegito in the original manga.
另一個特色，是本作同時描寫現世與冥界兩場戰鬥：悟飯、悟天與特南克斯在現世對抗復活的敵人，而悟空與達爾則在冥界迎戰邪念波。
