Corruption within the Eastern Han court intensifies as the Ten Attendants seize control of political power. General-in-Chief He Jin attempts to eliminate them, but his indecision leads to even greater danger. Beneath the surface of the palace, tensions rise as factions struggle for dominance. A violent coup is imminent—before the empire collapses, the court itself is already falling apart.
黃巾之亂之後，表面上天下稍得安定，但東漢朝廷內部的危機卻日益加深。
靈帝在位期間，寵信宦官，形成以「十常侍」為首的龐大勢力。他們長期把持朝政，賣官鬻爵，貪污成風，令整個官僚體系腐敗不堪。凡事皆以金錢與私利為先，忠良之士無不被排擠。
在這樣的局勢下，大將軍何進逐漸意識到宦官的危害。他本為外戚出身，掌握兵權，心中有意清除十常侍，以重整朝綱。
然而，何進性格優柔寡斷。雖有除患之心，卻缺乏果斷行動。他多次與朝中大臣商議對策，卻始終猶豫不決。
當時，有人建議何進召集地方強兵入京，以壓制宦官勢力。這一提議表面上可行，實則暗藏危機——一旦外兵入京，局勢將難以控制。
何進最終採納此策，密令各地軍閥進京助陣。其中包括實力強大的董卓。
消息傳出，十常侍大為驚恐。他們深知，一旦何進動手，自己必死無疑。於是，宦官們決定先下手為強。
他們利用何進的輕信，假借皇后名義召其入宮。何進未加防備，孤身前往，卻在宮中遭到伏擊，被當場殺害。
此事震動朝野。
何進部下得知主將被害，憤怒不已，立即率兵衝入宮中，大肆屠殺宦官。宮廷之內，血流成河，哀嚎四起。
十常侍見勢不妙，挾持少帝與陳留王倉皇出逃。整個皇宮陷入混亂，無人能夠控制局面。
就在此時，董卓率兵抵達洛陽。
他見京城動盪，朝廷無主，立即掌握軍權，控制局勢。董卓不僅救回皇帝，更藉此機會干預朝政，逐步奪取最高權力。
一場原本針對宦官的清算，最終卻演變成更大的權力真空。朝廷的崩壞，已無法挽回。

After the suppression of the Yellow Turban Rebellion, the empire appears temporarily stable. However, within the imperial court, the crisis deepens.
During the reign of Emperor Ling, eunuchs gain immense influence. The Ten Attendants dominate political affairs, selling offices and engaging in widespread corruption. The government becomes riddled with greed, and loyal officials are pushed aside.
Amid this corruption, General-in-Chief He Jin recognizes the threat posed by the eunuchs. As a powerful figure with military authority, he intends to eliminate them and restore order.
Yet He Jin lacks decisiveness. Despite his intentions, he hesitates repeatedly, unable to act firmly. Advisors suggest that he summon regional warlords to bring troops into the capital to suppress the eunuchs.
This plan is dangerous. Once external armies enter the capital, control may be lost. Nevertheless, He Jin proceeds and secretly calls upon various warlords—including the powerful Dong Zhuo.
The Ten Attendants soon learn of this plan. Realizing their lives are at risk, they decide to act first.
Using deception, they lure He Jin into the palace under the pretense of a royal summons. Trusting the message, He Jin enters without suspicion—only to be ambushed and killed.
The news shocks the entire court.
Enraged by their leader’s death, He Jin’s subordinates storm the palace and massacre the eunuchs. Chaos erupts within the imperial compound, with bloodshed and panic spreading everywhere.
Desperate, the remaining eunuchs abduct the young emperor and the Prince of Chenliu, fleeing the capital.
At this critical moment, Dong Zhuo arrives in Luoyang with his army.
Seeing the chaos and lack of central authority, Dong Zhuo seizes control. He rescues the emperor and quickly consolidates power, placing himself at the center of political authority.
What began as an attempt to eliminate corrupt eunuchs has instead created a massive power vacuum. The collapse of the imperial court is now inevitable.
The fate of the Han Dynasty has taken a dark and irreversible turn.
