一日，王允密召呂布，坦言天下苦董卓久矣，若不除之，漢室難以復興。他曉以大義，又以貂蟬之事觸動呂布內心，使其在忠義與情感之間動搖。
呂布陷入掙扎。
一方面，董卓對他有養育之恩；另一方面，董卓的暴行與對自己的羞辱，已令他難以忍受。最終，在多重壓力之下，呂布做出了決定。
他選擇背叛。
王允隨即制定詳細計劃，安排董卓入朝之時動手。
當日，董卓乘車入宮，自恃權勢，毫無防備。就在他行至宮門之際，伏兵四起。
呂布手持方天畫戟，攔於車前。
董卓見狀大驚，喝問其故。呂布不再掩飾，直言奉詔誅賊，隨即出手。
一戟刺出，董卓當場重傷。
他驚恐萬分，試圖逃命，卻已無力回天。呂布再出一擊，徹底結束了這位曾權傾天下的暴君。
董卓，就此身亡。
消息傳出，朝野震動。百官一度歡欣，以為亂局可望平息。然而，這份喜悅並未持續太久。
董卓雖死，其勢力仍在。
他的部將李傕、郭汜等人迅速集結兵力，準備反擊。長安局勢再度緊張，一場新的衝突即將爆發。
王允雖成功除掉董卓，卻低估了其殘餘勢力的反撲力量。而呂布，雖立大功，卻也因弒父之舉，聲名複雜，難以立足。

As Wang Yun’s scheme unfolds, the relationship between Dong Zhuo and Lü Bu deteriorates rapidly. What was once a bond of trust begins to crumble under suspicion and resentment.
Lü Bu, though adopted by Dong Zhuo, is a proud and emotional man. After the incident at the pavilion, his anger grows. With Diao Chan subtly influencing him, his dissatisfaction deepens.
Meanwhile, Wang Yun carefully observes the situation, waiting for the right moment to act.
At last, the opportunity arrives.
Wang Yun secretly meets Lü Bu and appeals to his sense of justice. He argues that Dong Zhuo’s tyranny has brought suffering to the empire and must be ended. At the same time, he reminds Lü Bu of his personal grievances.
Lü Bu is torn.
On one hand, Dong Zhuo is his adoptive father. On the other, he can no longer tolerate his cruelty and humiliation. After intense internal conflict, Lü Bu makes his choice.
He decides to betray Dong Zhuo.
A detailed plan is set in motion.
On the appointed day, Dong Zhuo enters the palace, confident and unaware of the danger. As his carriage approaches the gate, hidden soldiers emerge.
Lü Bu stands in his path, halberd in hand.
Startled, Dong Zhuo demands an explanation. Lü Bu declares that he acts under imperial command and immediately strikes.
The first blow severely wounds Dong Zhuo. Panic sets in as he attempts to flee, but it is too late. Lü Bu delivers the final strike, ending the life of the most powerful tyrant of the time.
Dong Zhuo is dead.
The news spreads quickly, shaking the court. Officials rejoice, believing that peace may finally return. However, this hope proves short-lived.
Dong Zhuo’s forces remain active.
His generals, Li Jue and Guo Si, quickly gather troops and prepare to retaliate. The situation in Chang’an becomes unstable once again.
Wang Yun, despite his success, underestimates the strength of Dong Zhuo’s remaining allies. Lü Bu, though victorious, gains a complicated reputation due to his betrayal.
The assassination does not bring stability—it creates a greater power vacuum.
In a time of chaos, the fall of one ruler only leads to the rise of new conflicts.
