Dong Zhuo’s tyranny provokes outrage across the land. In response, warlords from various regions unite to form a powerful coalition against him—known as the “Eighteen Warlords.” As these ambitious leaders gather, alliances are formed, but hidden agendas begin to surface. What appears to be a united campaign against tyranny is also the beginning of a struggle for dominance. The stage of the Three Kingdoms is now set.
董卓廢帝專權，暴行不斷，終於激起天下諸侯的強烈不滿。各地勢力紛紛舉兵響應，一場針對董卓的聯合行動迅速成形。
此時，以渤海太守袁紹為首，各路諸侯齊聚一堂，組成討董聯軍。參與者包括曹操、袁術、公孫瓚、孫堅等地方勢力，共計十八路人馬，聲勢浩大，號稱義軍。
袁紹被推舉為盟主，負責統領全軍。他出身名門，聲望極高，然而實際指揮能力卻未必能服眾。各路諸侯雖表面上聽命，內心卻各懷心思。
曹操在聯軍中顯得格外積極。他早已看透董卓之亂的本質，主張速戰速決，不可拖延。與此同時，他亦觀察各方勢力，為未來布局。
另一邊，孫堅率領江東軍隊，勇猛善戰，多次在前線取得勝利，成為聯軍中最具戰力的一支。
而劉備、關羽、張飛三人，亦隨公孫瓚軍中參與此戰。雖然地位不高，但三人的武勇逐漸受到注意。
聯軍浩浩蕩蕩向洛陽進發，聲勢震動天下。百姓無不期待，這支聯軍能夠推翻董卓暴政，重振漢室。
然而，聯軍內部問題很快浮現。
各路諸侯之間缺乏真正的信任，軍令不統一，行動遲緩。有人畏戰不前，有人暗中保存實力，不願為他人作嫁衣裳。
董卓雖暴虐，卻並非毫無對策。他命猛將呂布鎮守關隘，以阻聯軍進攻。呂布武藝高強，被譽為「飛將」，威震天下，使聯軍一時難以突破。
同時，董卓採取焦土政策，下令焚燒洛陽，挾持皇帝西遷長安。昔日繁華的都城，在烈火中化為灰燼。
聯軍雖聲勢浩大，卻未能迅速取得決定性勝利。戰局逐漸陷入僵持。
在這場看似正義的討伐之中，真正的問題開始浮現——這並不只是對抗董卓的戰爭，更是群雄逐鹿的開端。

Dong Zhuo’s tyranny finally provokes widespread outrage. Warlords from across the land rise in response, forming a united front to challenge his rule.
Led by Yuan Shao, governor of Bohai, the coalition gathers under a shared cause. This alliance, later known as the “Eighteen Warlords,” includes powerful figures such as Cao Cao, Yuan Shu, Gongsun Zan, and Sun Jian.
Yuan Shao is chosen as the leader due to his noble background and reputation. However, while he holds the title, his authority is not absolute. Each warlord maintains his own ambitions and interests.
Among them, Cao Cao stands out for his decisiveness. He advocates for swift action against Dong Zhuo and carefully observes the strengths and weaknesses of others, planning for the future.
Sun Jian, leading forces from the south, proves to be one of the most capable commanders. His troops achieve several victories, earning him respect within the coalition.
Meanwhile, Liu Bei, Guan Yu, and Zhang Fei join the campaign under Gongsun Zan. Though not yet prominent, their bravery begins to attract attention.
The coalition army marches toward Luoyang, raising hopes among the people that Dong Zhuo’s reign will soon end.
However, internal problems quickly emerge.
The warlords lack unity and trust. Orders are inconsistent, and progress is slow. Some hesitate to fight, while others conserve their strength, unwilling to sacrifice for the benefit of rivals.
Dong Zhuo, despite his brutality, responds strategically. He sends his formidable general Lü Bu to defend key passes. Known as the greatest warrior of his time, Lü Bu becomes a major obstacle for the coalition.
At the same time, Dong Zhuo orders the burning of Luoyang and relocates the emperor to Chang’an. The once-great capital is reduced to ashes.
Although the coalition appears powerful, it fails to achieve a decisive victory. The campaign stalls.
What began as a righteous alliance reveals deeper truths—this is not merely a war against tyranny, but the beginning of a struggle among warlords.
Each leader is now playing a larger game.
The era of competing heroes has truly begun.
