董卓率軍入洛陽後，憑藉強大兵力迅速掌握朝廷實權。此時的皇宮，經歷宦官之亂後已是一片混亂，百官驚惶失措，無人能制衡這位西涼軍閥。

其中，以司徒王允等人最為憤慨，卻因董卓兵權在握，不敢輕舉妄動。
董卓不顧眾議，強行在朝堂之上宣布廢黜少帝，改立陳留王劉協為帝，是為漢獻帝。少帝隨即被幽禁，不久更被毒殺。
此舉震動天下。
自古以來，廢立天子乃大逆不道之舉，董卓卻公然為之，顯示其已無所顧忌。朝廷百官人人自危，敢言者寥寥。
為鞏固權力，董卓大肆清洗異己。凡有反對之聲，皆被誅殺或流放。洛陽城內，氣氛日益恐怖，百姓亦深受其害。
董卓更縱容士兵掠奪民間財物，甚至焚燒宮殿、強徵資源，令都城滿目瘡痍。昔日繁華的洛陽，逐漸淪為人間地獄。
然而，董卓的暴政並非無人反抗。
各地諸侯對其專權行為深感不滿，尤其是那些手握兵權的地方勢力，開始暗中聯絡，準備舉兵討伐。

After entering Luoyang, Dong Zhuo wastes no time in seizing control of the imperial court. With his powerful army, he becomes the dominant force in the capital. The palace, already destabilized by the recent chaos, offers little resistance.
Dong Zhuo is a man of brutality and ambition. He understands that to maintain power, he must control the emperor. Step by step, he centralizes authority, making all decisions dependent on himself.
At the time, the reigning emperor is Liu Bian, a young and timid ruler. Dong Zhuo sees him as weak and unsuitable. He decides to depose him.
Many officials strongly oppose this move, as deposing an emperor is a grave violation of tradition. Among them, Minister Wang Yun is particularly outraged. However, with Dong Zhuo holding military power, none dare to act openly.
Ignoring all objections, Dong Zhuo publicly announces the removal of Liu Bian and installs Liu Xie as the new emperor—known as Emperor Xian of Han. Soon after, the former emperor is imprisoned and later poisoned.
This act shocks the entire empire.
By openly manipulating the throne, Dong Zhuo demonstrates that he fears no consequences. The court falls into silence, as officials become too afraid to speak out.
To secure his rule, Dong Zhuo eliminates all opposition. Those who resist are executed or exiled. Fear spreads throughout Luoyang, affecting both officials and common people.
His soldiers are allowed to loot and plunder freely. Palaces are burned, resources are seized, and the once-glorious capital turns into a place of suffering.
Yet such tyranny does not go unnoticed.
Across the land, regional warlords grow increasingly dissatisfied. Many begin to communicate secretly, preparing to unite against Dong Zhuo.
Among them, influential figures emerge—some advocating for immediate action, others waiting for the right moment.
Although Dong Zhuo controls the court, his power is built on fear, not loyalty. It is only a matter of time before resistance rises.
A nationwide confrontation is about to begin.
