1807年3月25日，英國國會正式通過 Slave Trade Act 1807（《廢除奴隸貿易法案》），禁止在 United Kingdom 及 British Empire 內進行奴隸貿易。

在此之前，多年來不少廢奴運動人士一直致力推動廢除跨大西洋奴隸貿易。其中最著名的倡議者之一是英國政治家 William Wilberforce，他多次在國會提出法案，要求終止奴隸買賣。

On March 25, 1807, the British Parliament passed the Slave Trade Act 1807, officially banning the slave trade throughout the United Kingdom and the British Empire.

For decades, abolitionists had campaigned against the transatlantic slave trade, arguing that the system was both morally wrong and deeply inhumane. One of the most prominent figures in the movement was William Wilberforce, who repeatedly introduced bills in Parliament to end the trade.

The act made it illegal for British ships to transport enslaved people and imposed heavy penalties on those involved in the trade. The Royal Navy later enforced the ban by patrolling the Atlantic and intercepting slave ships.

Although slavery itself was not abolished in the British Empire until 1833, the Slave Trade Act of 1807 marked a major milestone in the global movement to end the slave trade.
